For exactly 20 years, Demir Çelik Store has been at the heart of the iron and steel ecosystem, keeping its finger on the pulse of production, investment, exports, technology, labor and competition.

Guided by 35 years of sectoral experience in economics and industry, at Demir Çelik Store we have never confined our publishing to "news" alone — instead, we have grounded our work in an objective perspective: on-the-ground reporting, company interviews, and the sector's broader agenda.
20 Years of Recording the Sector's Agenda
Throughout these 20 years, we have worked with the goal of taking Demir Çelik Store beyond being just a "magazine." Through interviews, feature topics, special issues and field content, we documented the sector's agenda and built a trusted, consistent editorial line. We kept our finger on the pulse of the industry at national and international trade fairs; we introduced the world of iron and steel, gave visibility to our companies, and brought Turkey's production power and industrial capacity to wide audiences.
Our Directory and Catalogue Works
We also put our name on directory and catalogue projects; with the Iron & Steel Directory, Metal Directory and Machinery Directory, we introduced our companies and created lasting reference resources for the sector.
From Print Strength to Digital Integration
Our roots, of course, remain in the field and in physical publishing. We continue to reach a wide cross-section of the industry through our print magazines, delivering each issue to decision-makers across Turkey via our cargo distribution network and regular mailings. As we digitalized, we did not abandon "print strength" — on the contrary, we transitioned to a model that grows print alongside digital. By distributing our magazines to thousands of visitors at the industrial fairs we attend, we introduce our stakeholders directly to the target audience and increase their visibility.
Today, the language of publishing has changed: visibility alone is no longer enough — content and advertising must be measurable, clickable and capable of driving action. That is why we transformed our magazine with an interactive e-magazine infrastructure. Content and communications now redirect to the web, are clickable, can be supported by video when needed, and — most importantly — generate returns: clicks, visits, views and referrals.
Digital Transformation: Measurable Publishing
Our digital transformation did not stop at the e-magazine. Through our video broadcasts and digital interviews, we brought the field to the screen; with fair broadcasts, agenda videos and special content, we amplified the voice of the sector. Today, through more than 10 websites, social media channels and our digital networks — LinkedIn in particular — we have built a fully integrated media ecosystem combining magazine + web + video + social media. Thanks to this ecosystem, we make our stakeholders more visible in the digital space and deliver the sector's agenda to wider audiences faster than ever.
The Steel Sector: From Where It Was to Where It Stands After 20 Years
The iron and steel sector is one of the cornerstones of Turkey's industrialization — the locomotive of development. Iron and steel is not merely a standalone production item; it is a fundamental input for countless industries, from machinery and automotive to defence and aviation, from electronics and chemicals to mining, construction and transportation.
Over the past 20 years, Turkey's steel sector has increased its production from 20 million tonnes to 38.1 million tonnes, rising in the global rankings from 11th place to 7th. Today, the sector stands at a new threshold: as productivity grows through digital and technological transformation, low-carbon production is becoming a fundamental requirement for competitiveness — driven by the CBAM and green steel agendas. In short, the steel sector has levelled up; it is now entering a new era defined by digitalization and green transformation. We at Demir Çelik Store, having documented and made visible this transformation for 20 years, have today reached a pioneering position in measurable digital publishing.
