# UK gains stand out in Turkey’s first-half 2026 welded pipe trade

> Shipments to the UK rose 72.4%, while Turkey’s total welded pipe exports slipped to 964,410 tonnes in January–June 2026.

Turkey’s welded pipe exports to the UK rose 72.4% year on year to 153,435 tonnes in January–June 2026. Romania remained the largest destination at 177,096 tonnes, despite a 9.2% decline, according to preliminary foreign trade figures.

Across all destinations, export volumes fell 1.2% from the first half of 2025 to 964,410 tonnes. Export revenue decreased 1% to $834.09 million over the same period.

Belgium and Croatia also recorded growth: shipments to Belgium increased 35.5% to 55,343 tonnes, while exports to Croatia rose 191.8% to 45,812 tonnes. Gains in these two markets and the UK helped limit the overall decline.
