Steel trade
Steel trade is the cross-border buying, selling and movement of steel products between producers, exporters, importers and end users. It involves commercial relationships and the market networks through which steel reaches different countries and regions. An archive on steel trade can include international market access, export and import activity, trade-oriented industry meetings, supply routes and developments affecting commercial connections between steel-producing and steel-consuming regions. It is distinct from steel production itself, which concerns manufacturing capacity and output. The article uses the term in the context of Türkiye's position in global commerce and the summit's aim of helping companies access markets and develop contacts that may lead to trade.
