Tatçelik Invests in 15 MW Solar Power Plant in Van's Muradiye District

Tatçelik, in collaboration with Entegre Solar, is investing in a solar power plant with an installed capacity of 15,080.4 kWp in the Muradiye district of Van. The facility, which will generate 26,390.70 MWh of electricity per year, has been designed to operate at high efficiency even under the region's harsh winter conditions.

The Muradiye investment stands out as one of Tatçelik's most significant steps in renewable energy. Once operational, the plant will prevent 12,985 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually, delivering an environmental benefit equivalent to saving 17,297 trees.

Tatçelik, active in the steel sector, has demonstrated its commitment to sustainable energy transition with this concrete project. Realized in one of Eastern Anatolia's most demanding climatic regions, the plant shows that solar energy can be effectively utilized even in challenging geographies.
